Chefaa is an innovative digital health platform transforming the way people access medications and healthcare services in Egypt. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Team Lead to oversee our business development efforts and drive growth within the organization.
Responsibilities
Oversee the BI Hub module in Egypt and KSA, ensuring business growth and market expansion
Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to deal closure
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
Identify new business opportunities, including emerging market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
Conduct research and establish strong relationships with potential clients
Generate qualified leads and set up meetings with potential customers
Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business
Negotiate contract terms and finalize deals with customers
Ensure agreements align with company objectives and client expectations
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize value for both the company and the client
Train, mentor, and support the business development team to enhance their performance and skills
Monitor team progress and ensure alignment with business goals
Work closely with the marketing team to create and publish targeted advertisements
Analyze campaign results and prepare a final performance report
Oversee team reporting, providing key business insights and data-driven presentations
Stay updated on industry news and developments to inform business strategies
Work closely with the technology team to contribute to product development ( BIHub)
Provide market insights to help improve the company's offerings
Requirements
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
Proven track record of successful business development and achieving sales targets
A strong understanding of the health tech or pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically and drive results through a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software and sales tools
Fluency in English are a plus
Experience in market analysis and business intelligence
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and campaign management
