About the Role - We are currently seeking an innovative and results-driven Business Development Supervisor who will be responsible for searching potential opportunities aligned Megawide's strategic plan and 5-year roadmap.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data collection and analysis, investment appraisal, preparation of documentation, and securing the necessary approvals to develop a project.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
  • Analyze industry trends to stay ahead of market developments.
  • Works on expanding the company's network by consistently connecting with public and private sector stakeholders, potential partners or consultants for opportunity identification.
  • Monitors publications and reaches out to contacts for new projects e.g. implementing agency, PhilGeps, etc.
  • Initially screens opportunities based on pre-determined criteria and approved by the Bids Committee.
  • Oversees the bids team and coordinates with joint venture / consortium partners for proposal / bid submission.
  • Oversees preparation of documents such as but not limited to: (a) eligibility documents; (b) technical; and (c) financial proposals, etc.
  • Conducting kickoff to ensure alignment of responsibilities with Construction Team.

Qualifications

  • Candidate should have a strong understanding of the Philippine government procurement process and a proven track record in business development within private and public sectors.
  • Strong background in Construction industry.
  • Graduate of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other related course.
  • Additional background in finance, accounting, business, management or economics is a plus.
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in project management / project coordination.
  • Must have at least three (3) years' experience in a Supervisory capacity in a Construction Industry.
