Children's Media Business Development Specialist

Location: Remote | Contract | Lilypad Academy LLC

We’re on a mission to bring back late 90s/early 2000s children's television with stories of neurodiverse and inclusive characters. As a Business Development Specialist, you’ll play a key role in driving growth and forging strategic partnerships that will help us grow as a company, find like-minded investors and market ourselves to an array of distributors.

What You'll Do:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in on streaming, distribution education, and licensing sectors
• Build and manage partnerships with brands, distributors, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations aligned with our mission
• Conduct market research to uncover trends, audience needs, and revenue opportunities in children’s media
• Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and product teams to align business goals with brand vision

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or partnerships—preferably in media, publishing, or children’s content
• A strong passion for inclusivity, equity, and positive social impact through storytelling
• Comfortable with working in a startup environment
