The role

As a Business Development Representative, you work directly with our founder, commercial director and other sales colleagues to contact A-brands in Europe and generate interest in our product and understand their ambitions as best as possible.


The main tasks you will help the teams with are:

  • Outreach, lead qualification and planning. Your focus is on qualifying as many leads as possible, determining if they are suitable customers, understanding the brand goals, and preparing for the demo by scheduling it
  • Connect with potential customers and learn about their businesses and needs (via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn connections, events, etc.)
  • Brainstorming with the marketing and sales team on how to identify key players and generate interest in Cape
  • Educate, answer questions and send resources to potential customers
  • Planning next steps and following up on meetings

  • Previous experience in a Business Development or customer-facing role
  • Affinity with digital marketing
  • Proactive, can-do attitude
  • Dynamic and not afraid of failure
  • At your best in a fast-paced, start-up environment where you must be flexible to the changing demands of the organisation.
  • You are a born multitasker and know how to best organise your time
  • Mother tongue Dutch & professional level English is ESSENTIAL
