ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Business Development Executive at KIBO, your primary responsibility will be to self-generate outbound opportunities within strategic target accounts. You will work closely with our Enterprise Account Executives and Marketing teams to specifically research, identify and engage with decision makers of prospective and current clients. You will qualify leads by delving into the complex challenges, needs, and pains of prospects using an executive engagement and consultative, customer-focused selling approach.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Research, identify, prospect and source new business opportunities through leveraging sales and marketing tools (i.e. Zoominfo, Hubspot, Demandbase, Linkedin Salesnav, etc) cold calling, emailing, and social outreach
  • Establish a knowledgeable and consultative prospects through personalized and professional interactions using effective communication skills
  • Participate in high level qualification and discovery calls to understand customer needs and pains resulting in a successful sale and cultivated relationship in a cross functional environment to support new opportunity creation
  • Write and set up Outreach templates, snippets, and cadences for streamlined efficiency and messaging.
  • Nurture leads, target accounts and premature MQLs in effort to progress pipeline acceleration.
  • Partner with Account Executives and other cross-functional teams to create and prioritize target lists or accounts for strategic alignment
  • Take part in shaping and establishing the North America SDR processes and successes
  • Deliver, exceed, and crush your weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets
  • Scheduling and management of activities in Salesforce
  • Event participation (i.e. industry events, trade shows, KIBO-hosted events, etc.)


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Prior SaaS business development experience; Experience working Commerce, Order Management or CX SaaS a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Energy, passion and a great attitude is a must
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically to achieve business objectives
  • A desire to be in sales is necessary for the role
  • Experience in CRM, Marketing and Prospecting tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Demandbase, 6sense, Hubspot, Marketo, Apollo, Zoominfo, Builtwith, Google Gemini, etc.)
