We're looking for a Business Development & Marketing Operations Manager to join our high-performing Business Development, Marketing and Communications (BDMC) team. Based in either Manchester, Edinburgh or Glasgow, this role will lead efforts to enhance operational efficiency across our global function - improving workflows, streamlining data and helping us make smarter use of automation and AI.

Why this role?

As our BDMC Operations Manager, you'll sit at the heart of a dynamic team that's shaping how the firm grows client relationships and enhances our brand globally. You'll work closely with subject matter experts and BD leaders to centralise resources, develop smarter systems, and deliver scalable solutions that free up our people to focus on what they do best.

Whether it's implementing automated pitch templates, improving legal directory processes, or centralising marketing assets, your impact will be felt across the global firm.

What you'll be doing:

  • Optimise and centralise tools, processes, and content used across pitches, marketing materials, sales tools and more
  • Develop and implement automation solutions for high-volume, process-driven tasks
  • Lead initiatives to improve data accuracy and accessibility, ensuring consistent messaging and brand representation
  • Collaborate with global and regional BDMC teams to align infrastructure and resources
  • Support onboarding and training resources for new team members
  • Partner with other business services teams to improve cross-functional workflows

You'll also lead on special projects like:

  • Creating smart workflows for legal directory submissions
  • Rolling out automated document generation tools for marketing and pitch content
  • Centralising storage and management of key marketing materials for global consistency

What we're looking for:

  • Experience with workflow management platforms and process automation
  • A tech-savvy, data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
  • Proven success in managing cross-functional, multi-location projects
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Previous experience in a professional services BD or marketing team is highly desirable

Why join us?

  • Opportunities for career growth and development
  • Collaborative work environment
  • Hybrid working arrangement - minimum 2 days in the office
  • Private medical insurance, free health checks, and dental insurance
  • Pension plan and life assurance
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay
  • Childcare vouchers and season ticket loans
  • Sports club membership and a cycle to work scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • In-house dry cleaning and online benefits

Note: Benefits vary by location and length of service. Full details will be confirmed upon joining.
