Position Description:
The Business Development Manager/Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth through client acquisition, relationship management and revenue generation within the staffing industry, this role requires a deep understanding of contingent workforce & other staffing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the client base and drive revenue growth
Identify targeted prospects and customers through cold calling, research, and lead qualification
Secure new enterprise clients & MSP/VMS accounts
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across MSP, Procurement, HR leaders, hiring managers, VP/C-Suite
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in staffing services
Present contingent workforce & other staffing solutions to prospective clients, highlighting company differentiators
Maintain an organized and up-to-date sales pipeline in our CRM system
Lead Presales engagements, RFP’s, Proposal writing
Participating in industry networking events, conferences, and trade shows to expand our reach
Manage P&L responsibilities and oversee all client proposals, contracts, presentations, and commercials
Maintain detailed sales reports, including market and competitor analysis
Required Skills/Experience:
Proven experience in client acquisition, business development, or sales in the staffing industry
Proficient in selling to MSP/VMS Programs, Procurement departments and C-Suite
Strong experience of bringing in IT Staffing/Professional Staffing/Managed Services/SOW opportunities
Strong understanding of staffing models, including contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement
Willingness to travel for client meetings
Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
