Business Development Manager Marketplaces

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Enterprise team (focus on corporate customers) in the Payments sector specialized in marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth, and expanding our market presence. This role requires an understanding of the marketplace industry, exceptional communication skills, the ability to develop and execute strategic business plans and a “hunting” mentality.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
Negotiate terms and finalize agreements to enhance the company’s value proposition.
Marketplaces Analysis:
Conduct in-depth research to identify competitive trends, market dynamics, and customer needs within the market places environments.
Provide insights to the product and marketing teams to refine offerings and strategies.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Set and achieve revenue targets in alignment with company goals.
Track and report on performance metrics, ensuring transparency and alignment with objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Understanding the synergies and process to work closely with internal teams such as product, marketing, operations and legal
Provide feedback to enhance product offerings and customer experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (3+ years) in business development, sales, or a related role within the Marketplace industry
Experience working in a corporate environment and with corporate clients is essential.
Payments Knowledge not mandatory but will be a plus.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
