We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Accounts Manager with a strong focus on client acquisition and driving project-based Statement of Work (SOW) engagements. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to establish and nurture relationships with mid-sized clients, understand their business needs, and secure project-based work that aligns with the company’s capabilities. This role requires a blend of strategic sales, relationship management, and business development skills.
Client Acquisition and Business Development:
- Identify, target, and acquire mid-sized clients across diverse industries for project-based SOW engagements.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet revenue and business growth targets.
- Leverage market research, networking, and lead generation tools to identify prospective clients.
Building and Managing Relationships:
- Cultivate long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs, challenges, and goals.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring satisfaction.
- Build trust and rapport to ensure repeat business and referrals.
SOW Project Development and Delivery:
- Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, budgets, and timelines for SOW engagements.
- Partner with internal teams to scope projects, prepare proposals, and ensure seamless project delivery.
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and company capabilities.
Revenue Generation and Client Retention:
- Drive revenue by securing profitable SOW projects and expanding accounts.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell services to existing clients.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and projects.
- Market Insights and Strategic Contribution:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
- Provide regular feedback to internal teams to improve offerings and stay competitive.
- Contribute to the company’s overall growth strategy by suggesting new markets or services.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in client acquisition, sales, or account management, ideally within a professional services, consulting, or project-based industry.
- Prior experience in New Business Development acquiring New Clients (IT, Non-IT, Professional, Engineering).
- Prior experience acquiring new business opportunities in following areas: Contract/Perm Placements, Managed Services, SOW, Hire/Train/Deploy
- Proven track record of successfully securing mid-sized clients and SOW-based projects.
- Skills:

- Ability to understand and articulate technical requirements and translate them into business solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, pipeline management, and proposal preparation.
