Retail Technology Asia (RTA) is a cloud-based digital retail service company headquartered in Hong Kong. We have the world-leading SaaS technology. We are looking for a professional Business Development Manager (BDM) to develop the market in Japan. The BDM is responsible for executing an international business sales plan resulting in cloud subscription revenue wins with new and existing RTA accounts.

The Job

• Demonstrate the business benefits and value proposition of RTA omni-channel retail solutions.
• Identify customer business pain points and articulate how RTA solutions can help resolve those challenges.
• Collaborate with different teams to deliver desired results to clients.
• Develop new business sales opportunities in new accounts.
• Manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
• Maintain excellent relationships with key accounts.
• Consult clients on their business operations or requirements based on knowledge of the RTA product portfolio and industry trends.
• Work closely with the implementation team and product team on the implementation plan for the project.

The Person

• Experience in business development on ERP solutions to retail customers
• Experience with Cloud applications
• Management of large and complex sales cycles
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with client director/manager level
• Experience in expanding business to the international market
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in business development or sales
• Great knowledge on ERP systems
• Good understanding of Software/Systems/Database architecture
• Ability to successfully close new business
• Proven problem resolution, communication, planning, and execution skills
• Business prospecting and presentation skills
