As we scale, we are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive client acquisition and foster long-term business relationships.
Job Overview:The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and securing projects from multiple clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the IT services market, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales/business development.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT services sector (web, mobile, SaaS, etc.).
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients (startups, SMEs, enterprises).
- Generate leads through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and digital channels (LinkedIn, Upwork, Clutch, etc.).
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and negotiate contracts with clients.
- Collaborate with the technical team to align client requirements with our offerings.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline for consistent project inflow.
- Attend industry events, webinars, and networking sessions to promote Spods Technologies.
Skills & Qualifications:- 2-5 years of experience in IT business development, sales, or lead generation.
- Strong understanding of software development services (web, mobile, cloud, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and close deals.
- Experience with freelance platforms (Upwork, Toptal), IT outsourcing, or lead generation tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) is preferred.
