About the job We need a driven, adaptable, and energetic Business Development Manager to help us pursue rapid growth in our current markets and explore new markets. Your challenge is to accelerate the outbound sales process, help explore new market opportunities, and work with the rest of our team to develop effective messaging and marketing strategies. We are looking for a self-motivated, collaborative individual who loves problem-solving and is hungry to learn and grow. You will be one of the first touchpoints for prospects and assess their needs to tailor your approach to qualifying them. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will gain exposure to sales and marketing initiatives, such as improving outbound campaigns and marketing. This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad experience, join a growing team, and take your skills to the next level. What will your primary responsibilities look like? In this role, you will be expected to * Create opportunities through outbound communications (emails, cold-calls, social media) * Craft high-quality emails, phone scripts and sequences to book new business meetings * Build relationships at industry events, conferences, and trade shows * Meet or exceed the assigned quota for generating sales-qualified leads * Help refine and drive outbound lead generation campaigns * Share customer and prospect insights and feedback with Sales, Marketing, and Product * Ensure successful follow-through of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate information in CRM (Salesforce) * Represent EcoInteractive in the market with incredible integrity, professionalism, and industry knowledge What elements of your professional background will be necessary and valuable in this role? * Strong understanding of lead generation/qualification, and customer/prospect follow-up * Emailing and cold-calling experience * Plus: 1-2 years of career experience, preferably in sales or business development * Plus: B2G sales and/or account-based marketing experience * Plus: Experience with Salesforce and Gong * Required: Authorized to work in the US - unfortunately, we cannot sponsor work visas or transfers at this time. * Required: Must be physically located in one of the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CO, DE, FL, GA, KS, MD, MA, MI, MT, NV, NJ, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, CA, NY Personal Characteristics * Driven.
