Competitive pay: $135 k – $170 k base (commensurate with experience).


Responsibilities

  • Strategize & execute multichannel BD plans that open new markets—especially NY/NJ—and deepen key client relationships.
  • Lead pitches: research, craft, and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations with practice-group leaders.
  • Mine market intel: monitor trends, analyze competitors, and package insights for leadership.
  • Network & represent: attend industry events, strengthen referral pipelines, and raise the firm’s profile.
  • Measure results: track KPIs, report ROI, and iterate to keep the growth engine humming.


Qualifications

8+ years of business development success in a law firm or professional-services environment. Proven ability to translate market insight into revenue growth. Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA/JD a plus). Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong project-management chops; comfortable juggling multiple high-stakes initiatives. Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
