Business Development & Sales Manager at Kim's


An entrepreneurial role in a family-run business. This is a great opportunity to make a value-driven impact in a growing company.


We’re looking for some one with experience in Retail and/or Sales to develop the sales of Kim's new products and revenue streams – e-commerce, retail products (idols, copper ware and divinity) and our brand new interior decor collection.

Kim Krafts is a family owned business founded in 1988 by Director Meena Kapur who works alongside her husband and Co-Director Ish Kapur as they create concepts and pieces wherein beauty weds utility.


Working closely with their team of kaarigars/craftsmen, the pair experiment with materials and textures to manufacture the best in quality and affordability. 


Kim’s collection includes intricately handcrafted divinity products as well as a range of classic and modern decor accents.


The Role:


  • Building strong relationships with our corporate clients as well as trade and national accounts to drive sales and revenue at Kim's.


  • Developing and driving a sales plan to deliver growth across all business channels. You will help develop our growing channels of business - e-commerce, B2B and retail - working on everything from strategy, to partner selection and execution.


  • Delivering new product sales and maximizing the opportunity across the full range as new products are developed and introduced.


  • Presenting KPI forecasts including new products costs and sales revenue and promotional activity results.


  • Collaborating with the directors and management on strategic initiatives that will produce measurable financial results including creation and maintenance of sales kits and all client facing collateral, marketing plans and digital analytics including website, email, SEO/PPC and social media platforms.


Key Candidate Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


  • Capable of embodying and conveying to others our values and brand, and holding an excitement to develop its future potential.


  • Capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.


  • Possess a variety of proven sales and relationship building techniques.


  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in retail and/or B2B sales.


  • Specific knowledge of existing social media platforms and emerging technologies.


  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, CRM tools and other systems as needed.


  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills to proactively research and generate new business, managing sales, budgets, client communication and organisation.


  • Ideally a good knowledge and network of corporate clients and sales.


  • Act as lead on all communications, with our customers and distributors, being a unified point of contact for all stakeholders and conduit for information and initiatives.


Benefits & Salary:


  • A bonus/commission structure based on sales.


  • Salary ~ ₹50,000 - ₹60,000 per month


  • Travel Allowance
