Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our interim staffing services in the Minneapolis - St Paul market. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who thrives on creating new opportunities and delivering value to clients through strategic staffing solutions.


The Business Development Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Business Development

  • Identify and target key decision-makers within companies to introduce our interim search services.
  • Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities by researching potential clients, assessing needs, and creating tailored staffing solutions.
  • Schedule and lead prospect meetings to position our accounting and finance services as the top choice for interim staffing needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors, leveraging insights to position our services strategically in the marketplace.


Client Partnership and Service Excellence

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, focusing on their immediate interim staffing needs while also presenting the full range of services we offer, including direct hire and executive search solutions.
  • Work closely with client decision-makers to understand their business challenges and offer interim solutions that fill crucial gaps in their teams.
  • Present highly qualified consultants for interim opportunities, matching their career goals with the client's immediate needs.
  • Provide consistent follow-up and client engagement to ensure satisfaction and future collaboration.


Brand Building and Market Positioning

  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to implement strategies that drive brand awareness and strengthen our presence in the interim search market.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions, positioning yourself and Truity Partners as thought leaders in accounting and finance staffing.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, living our core values of relationships, collaboration, exceptional service, and integrity.



The BD Manager will possess the following:


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 5 years of business development or sales experience in the staffing/recruiting industry.
  • Must reside in the Twin Cities or surrounding suburbs.
  • Experience in the accounting/finance sector with staffing is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and building relationships.
  • Previous experience in the local market is highly desirable, along with a deep understanding of local industry hiring trends.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Show initiative, energy, intelligence, creativity, and a desire for building a business
  • An eagerness and willingness to learn and grow
  • Value collaboration and continuous improvement, both at the team and company level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Display great listening skills, curiosity, and emotional intelligence
