Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of building strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and institutions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic door-opener, capable of initiating and nurturing relationships at the highest levels, driving business growth, and expanding the firm’s portfolio of products and services. This role will focus on growing deposits, discretionary portfolios, and asset management offerings, ensuring the firm’s market presence and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Relationship Building:

Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), corporate institutions, and key decision-makers.

Act as a “door opener,” leveraging existing networks to secure high-level meetings and opportunities for the firm.

2. Business Growth:

Drive the growth of deposits and discretionary portfolios by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Promote and grow the firm’s products and services, including asset management and investment offerings.

Develop and execute strategies to achieve and exceed business growth targets.

3. Sales and Marketing:

Design and implement effective sales strategies to attract and retain clients.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and promote the firm's value proposition.

Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.

4. Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive positioning.

Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the firm's market presence and product offerings.

5. Client Portfolio Management:

Work closely with the investment and asset management teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.

Ensure exceptional client experience by offering personalized financial solutions and services.

6. Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio managers, operations, and compliance, to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.

Contribute to the development of new products and services based on client feedback and market demand.


Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

5-9 years of experience in business development, sales, or relationship management in the financial services sector, with a focus on asset management, wealth management, or investment services.

Proven track record of growing deposits, discretionary portfolios, and product offerings.

Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of asset management, investment products, and financial markets.
