If you have ever experienced living in a rural community, you can understand the struggles of poor internet quality. It can ruin your whole day to plan around the internet randomly “going out”.

Rural communities need access to High-Speed Internet just as much as urban folks do. But, they are often left out of the Internet conversation in America. Then, they are expected to be ok with 2nd class internet. The same internet that has been publicly funded over and over again without any improvements.

We felt it was time for a change! Over the last 4 years, with the help of rural communities around the country, we are now one of the largest rural internet providers in the country!

Nomad Internet provides the best wireless internet you can possibly experience. With our use of C-band spectrum and the Nomad Omega, Air and Raptor modems, most Nomad Internet customers experience speeds between 100-200mbs. Plus, the Nomad Air Travel option allows customers to take this internet anywhere they travel!

Job Description

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth Strategy: Develop and implement growth strategies to increase revenue and market share. Identify and target potential new markets and business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Engage with key clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify new market opportunities and customer needs. Stay abreast of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Sales and Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies. Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver business proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate contract terms and close agreements.
  • Performance Metrics: Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing business development activities. Track key account metrics and report on business development activities.
  • Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with business objectives.
  • Networking: Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market trends.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s products and services to communicate all offerings to clients effectively and prospects.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in the formulation of strategic business plans, identifying risk factors and business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven working experience as a business development or account manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Experience in customer support is a plus
  • Strong network and experience in the relevant ISP industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in using Zoho CRM software and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and achieve sales targ ets.
