Summary

The company operates internationally in India, The Netherlands, Spain and France. They are developing a portfolio of projects including various technologies and aim to expand their activities, with a target to get to 200 MWp of operational projects by 2030.


This company is looking for a qualified and experienced Business Development Manager for its development team in the Netherlands. As a Business Development Manager, you will be in charge of driving the local subsidiary's strategic expansion. Your primary goal will be to design and execute initiatives, increase market presence, and build strong connections with key players.


The role:

  • Execute greenfield project development initiatives, including the identification and pursuit of new projects, partnerships, and collaborations in the renewable energy industry.
  • Oversee the daily progress of the projects in the Netherlands.
  • Develop and implement a "go-to-market" strategy to achieve strategic goals that are linked with the overall business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between landowners, municipalities, DSO/TSO, RVO, and possible utility/corporate.


The requirements:

  • Commercial experience and negotiation abilities, as well as the ability to communicate with numerous stakeholders while maintaining frequent contact with management.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.
  • Proven expertise (at least 3-5 years) in company development in the Netherlands' solar PV energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of the permitting procedures, which include municipalities, the environment, connectivity, and SDE/PPA energy market commercialization.
