We are looking for a “Business Development Manager” to be assigned to our ''Commercial Operations'' department located in İstanbul HQ;
WHAT DO WE EXPECT?
- Engineering, Business Administration or Economics from a top tier university, preferably a master’s degree in the same disciplines or an MBA,
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the energy sector,
- Experienced in the commercial management of international investment projects in the energy sector, preferably in the field of renewable energy, and has sectoral knowledge and experience,
- Having financial understanding and business mindset,
- Familiar with international standards and bidding processes,
- Experience in project development, planning and organization; have proposal-formation, problem-solving and decision-making skills,
- High level of communication, negotiation and representation skills, capable of carrying out internal and external multilateral communication,
- Excellent written and spoken English and French as a second language,
- Very good command of MS Office applications,
- Capable of analytical thinking, research and analysis competencies,
- Excellent reporting and presentation skills,
- Developed organization and coordination skills, results-oriented,
- Results driven and delivery focused,
- International work experience would be an asset,
- No restriction for travelling abroad
WHAT AWAITS YOU?
- Follow the sector trends in global markets and to support business development activities related to potential overseas projects in line with company policies,
- Carry out necessary analyses about the projects and develop implementation proposals,
- Engage in new investment activities, conduct project feasibility and valuation studies and ensure implementation of plans,
- Conduct competitor analyses related to the company's business activities and to direct company strategies depending on the possible plans of the competitors,
- Take part in bid and contract processes,
- Conduct and coordinate internal and external communication for the projects for which he/she is responsible,
- Doing feasibility studies and/or researches about the proposals which will be offered to customers, tenders or Powership investments,
- Doing preliminary studies about Powership tenders, offers and business development processes and supporting sales team,
- Identifying new business development opportunities and growth initiatives while thoroughly assessing macro and sector specific developments,
- Building relationships with the project stakeholders and become solution partner for their business needs,
- Coordinating external advisors as well as a variety of internal teams during business development effort.
