Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in Houston, TX. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and driving company growth. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify Business Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for lead generation and nurturing.
  • Client Acquisition & Retention: Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customers’ needs to inform business decisions and strategic direction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment in objectives and efforts.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the creation of proposals, presentations, and other materials to pitch new clients.
  • Contract Negotiation: Oversee the negotiation of contracts and agreements to close business deals.
  • Reporting: Track sales performance, revenue, and market insights to provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Networking & Events: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
