About Us

We’re Elite Contract Furniture, and we supply high-quality furniture for hotels, care homes, student accommodation, and other busy places that need to look good and work hard. We’ve built a strong reputation across the UK for being reliable, easy to work with, and for doing a great job from start to finish.

We’re growing and looking for a Business Development Manager to help us find new customers, build strong relationships, and grow our business in key areas.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Find and connect with new businesses in sectors like hospitality and healthcare.
• Reach out to potential clients, attend events, and use your own research to find leads.
• Build lasting relationships with people like buyers, designers, architects, and project managers.
• Represent Elite at trade shows and industry events.
• Work closely with our in-house design, sales, and delivery teams to offer the right solutions for each client.
• Keep track of your progress, hit your targets, and share updates with the wider team.
• Stay on top of what’s happening in the market and what our competitors are up to.

What We’re Looking For

• Someone with experience in business development or sales, ideally in contract furniture, interiors, or fit-out work.
• A good network of contacts in hospitality or healthcare is a bonus.
• You should enjoy meeting new people, be confident talking to clients, and comfortable handling negotiations.
• You’re motivated, well-organised, and able to manage your own time.
• A practical understanding of what businesses need and how to help them solve problems.
