Role Summary

The Business Development Manager will spearhead B2B sales initiatives, focusing on securing contracts and projects with corporate clients, hospitality groups, real estate developers, and design firms. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in B2B sales, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a passion for premium furniture and design. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and pursue new B2B opportunities with architects, interior designers, developers, hospitality groups, and corporate clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, acting as the primary point of contact for contract and project clients.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the premium furniture sector.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with design, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of customized furniture solutions for client projects.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the premium furniture and design market.
  • Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts, negotiating terms to secure profitable deals.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Track sales performance, provide regular reports, and forecast future sales to inform business strategy.
Qualifications
  • Experience: B2B sales experience, preferably in premium furniture, interior design, or related industries (e.g., luxury goods, hospitality, or contract furniture).
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in securing high-value contracts and managing complex, project-based sales cycles.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the premium furniture market, including trends, key players, and client expectations.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about design and luxury furniture. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and project site visits.
