About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented
Business Development Manager to lead initiatives that drive revenue growth, expand enterprise relationships, and accelerate market penetration across existing and emerging product categories. This role will be instrumental in identifying and developing high-impact opportunities within SMB, mid-market and enterprise-level accounts, while actively contributing to the diversification and evolution of our solutions portfolio.
What you’ll do:
- Identify, cultivate, and secure new business opportunities within key enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments, aligning with the organization’s growth objectives and product expansion strategy.
- Focus on three key strategic ISV business development objectives through Descartes, Havensight, and Mirata. Develop a pipeline within NetSuite and coordinate demand generation needs through VP of Enterprise Sales. Identify SAP active accounts within Levata across Fortune 500 and 1000 along with verticals (Manufacturing, Utility, Oil & Gas).
- Lead strategic prospecting efforts to open new verticals and geographies, and drive adoption across an expanding suite of products and services.
- Build and deepen long-term relationships with key decision-makers with strategic ISV leadership and sales teams along with Levata leadership and sellers. Develop demand and lead generation and hand off lead tracking to Levata Leads Analyst for sales leaders to assign. Your focus personas will be procurement leaders, and executive stakeholders to understand business needs and align value-based solutions for Levata sellers and strategic ISV’s.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Partner & Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to influence go-to-market strategies and ensure successful launch and integration of new product offerings.
- Partner with internal teams to capture customer insights and inform the ongoing expansion and refinement of product categories.
- Maintain an accurate and dynamic pipeline of opportunities, leveraging CRM tools and analytics to report on progress and forecast growth.
Strategic Focus Areas:
- Enterprise Growth: Penetrate enterprise-level accounts and build scalable frameworks to increase wallet share across multiple business units.
- Product Category Expansion: Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities by introducing clients to adjacent and newly launched product categories.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to identify white space opportunities and inform business development strategy.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or strategic sales, preferably in a B2B Enterprise environment.
- Proven success in acquiring and expanding large accounts and navigating complex sales cycles.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate customer challenges into tailored solutions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with a track record of executive engagement.
- Experience working cross-functionally in a high-growth, matrixed organization.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, pipeline management, and data-driven sales strategy.
