Responsibilities
* Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth and coordinate cross functionally in support of tactical execution
* Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets
* Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities
* Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy
* Proactively identify, pursue, and close business opportunities at small to mid-size biotech and pharmaceutical companies
* Possess deep knowledge of business product offering and value proposition
* Work closely with internal R&D team and other Business Development members to achieve customer satisfaction
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, or related discipline
* Minimum 3 years' Bench Scientist experience at CRO, biotech or pharmaceutical companies
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in account management or business development in pharmaceutical industry
* A proven track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets
* Excellent at building strong relationships with clients
