Summary

Posh is hiring a motivated and experienced Team Leader to manage our Business Development Team. The Team Leader will oversee the team's strategic positioning toward account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and high-value account engagement. This role includes direct support for the banking segment while providing leadership, training, and development for the team. The position requires a collaborative mindset to work closely with account executives, marketing teams, and management of field marketing representatives to deliver impactful results.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

  • Manage and Oversee the Team: Lead and guide a team of Business Development Representatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Alignment: Lead the integration of ABM strategies by collaborating with the marketing team, particularly the Demand Generation Manager, to design and implement targeted ABM tactics. Develop and execute quarterly regional programs focused on high-priority accounts.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship, coaching, and training programs to enhance the team’s field marketing and account management skills.
  • Banking Segment Lead: Act as the primary field marketing and business development representative for the banking segment, collaborating closely with the bank seller to drive engagement.

Program & Account Management

  • Collaboration: Work with account executives and the marketing team to create and execute quarterly engagement plans tailored to high-value accounts.
  • Event Strategy: Oversee participation in regional and local events, ensuring alignment with strategic account priorities.
  • Performance Metrics: Track team KPIs. While we value funnel metrics, the key metric is qualified pipeline so we make sure the team scales pipeline with revenue targets.

Technology & Enablement

  • Utilize Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ChatGPT, and Outreach to enable team success.
  • Partner with the marketing team to align on demand generation campaigns and inbound lead management strategies.


Key Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience leading business development teams, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment. Demonstrated success in executing ABM strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor, coach, and develop high-performing teams. Track record of fostering collaboration and driving results in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to craft and execute strategic plans that align with sales and marketing objectives, including ABM and account engagement tactics.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ChatGPT and Outreach (or a similar sequencing tool).
  • Analytical Skills: Data-driven mindset with experience tracking and analyzing KPIs such as pipeline contributions, engagement metrics, and ROI from field marketing activities.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and clients.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% for onsite vents, client meetings, and industry-specific engagements.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong familiarity with the financial services sector is a strong asset but not required, with a particular focus on mid-market banking and credit unions.
