Open on industry experience or from outside of the industry if you have proven B2B sales track record.

The Role:


As a Business Development Manager, primarily focused on targeting new business in the East Midlands region. You will be responsible for cold calling, generating quotations, managing invoices, consultative selling, and cross-selling solutions across a variety of sectors and clients. Once clients are onboarded, they are handed over to the account managers, requiring close collaboration with account managers and the marketing team for lead generation as well as your own self-generation.


Requirements:


To be considered for the Business Development Manager role, you should have:

· Minimum 2 years in a B2B sales insurance background OR 2 years in any B2B sales background in complex selling e.g. managing bids & tenders processes.

· Experience in selling & managing multiple stakeholders in a process.

· Experience in longer sales cycles due to the nature of the role

· Skills in consultative selling, tenacity, being a business hunter, and attention to detail.


Salary & Benefits Package:


· £35,000 to £70,000 dependent on experience, plus OTE up to £40k.

· Hybrid-working, 2 days WFH & 3 days on the road or in the office in Leicester.
