Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically inclined Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in promoting our new generation of fire protection piping and fittings to key stakeholders, including building owners, fire protection design firms, and engineering consultants. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in getting our products specified in design documents, securing pilot projects, and developing long-term strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and engage with fire protection design firms, consultants, general contractors, and end-users.
• Present technical solutions and advantages of our piping system to secure product specification.
• Drive small-scale pilot projects and support product evaluation by prospective clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams on technical proposals, compliance documentation, and project follow-up.
• Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to enhance visibility.
• Report market trends, competitive activities, and project pipeline to management regularly.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in business development or technical sales in the fire protection, piping, or construction materials industry.
• Strong understanding of fire protection systems, NFPA standards, or mechanical piping preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and drive B2B relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the United States as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.
