Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Executive specializing in transatlantic freight forwarding to join our clients dynamic logistics team. This role focuses on generating new business and managing accounts for cargo shipments between North America and Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international freight (air and ocean), logistics, and supply chain solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the transatlantic market, focusing on both import and export cargo.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering tailored freight solutions that meet their international shipping needs.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with company growth targets.
  • Quoting & Pricing: Provide accurate and competitive freight rate quotations for FCL, LCL, and air freight shipments.
  • Coordination with Operations: Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes affecting transatlantic trade lanes.
  • CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities effectively.
  • Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and KPIs.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales with a focus on transatlantic trade lanes.
  • Strong knowledge of international logistics (ocean and air), INCOTERMS, and customs regulations.
  • Proven track record of successful B2B sales in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
