Position

As Business Development Manager at Eurocept, you are responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities while strengthening existing strategic partnerships. A key part of your role is managing and evaluating distribution partners: you maintain strong relationships with current distributors and critically assess new ones to ensure they align with Eurocept’s operational and ethical standards. This requires sharp negotiation skills, particularly when discussing commercial terms such as margins and service levels.

You also lead the coordination of cross-functional efforts when entering new markets or launching products. This means knowing when and how to involve internal teams such as Regulatory Affairs to ensure proper registration and collaborating with Market Access to understand how likely it is that the product will be reimbursed by local health authorities or insurers.

You are familiar with the internal dynamics of pharmaceutical operations and act as a connector between commercial ambition and operational feasibility. In addition to this, you keep a close eye on international market trends, particularly in rare diseases, and translate your insights into concrete proposals. You assess feasibility, drive execution, and ensure the patient interest remains central in every decision. Your success depends on your ability to build trust quickly (often remotely) and to manage relationships across cultures and time zones.

Profile

  • master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in a commercial, international environment that deals with distribution partners
  • proven ability to build strategic partnerships remotely, with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • analytical mindset with experience working cross-functionally, preferably with exposure to regulatory or market access topics
  • high integrity, culturally aware, and skilled at navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • fluent in English (additional European languages a plus); based in or able to travel to the Netherlands without visa support
