Responsibilities
As the Business Development Manager, your role will be vital in driving our growth and success. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Represent Shoparize at industry events: Build strong relationships and provide exceptional support to our key accounts, ensuring their satisfaction and success.
- Developing new business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, engaging with merchants, marketing agencies, affiliate networks, and other stakeholders in the e-commerce industry.
- Being a Shoparize brand ambassador: Represent Shoparize at industry events and cultivate positive relationships within the e-commerce community.
- Continuous self-development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements, acquire relevant certifications, and become a knowledgeable e-commerce consultant.
- Collaborate with merchants, agencies, affiliate networks, and internal teams to improve revenue, performance, and overall satisfaction.
Requirements
To excel in this role, we expect the following qualifications:
- 1-2 years of full-time experience in business development, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
- Familiarity with the digital and/or online advertisement field.
- Fluent/Native-level Dutch speaker.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to effectively manage key accounts.
- Goal-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Familiarity with Google Shopping and the Partner CSS program is a plus.
- Willingness to obtain certifications and complete relevant courses to enhance your expertise.
