Summary

We are in the early stages of building our outbound sales function and are looking for a proactive, self-driven individual who can take ownership of the entire business development cycle. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how we sell, who we target, and how we grow.

You will work closely with the founder and play a critical role in helping Accountsly expand across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Strategy

  • Identify new growth opportunities in international markets (US, UK, Canada, Australia, etc.)
  • Build outbound sales strategies and cold outreach systems
  • Develop sales playbooks, reporting structures, and onboarding processes
  • Set up KPIs, revenue targets, and team hiring plans for future sales expansion

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Prospect and engage with decision-makers (CPAs, founders, finance heads) via LinkedIn, cold email, and industry platforms
  • Build and maintain a high-quality lead pipeline
  • Customize outreach strategies for various market segments
  • Conduct discovery calls, product walkthroughs, and sales meetings
  • Qualify, pitch, and close international clients across industries
  • Negotiate proposals, pricing, and service-level agreements
  • Coordinate with internal delivery teams for smooth onboarding and client retention
  • Market Research & Campaign Oversight
  • Stay updated on outsourcing trends, market shifts, and client pain points

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-6 years of international B2B sales experience (preferably in outsourcing, accounting, IT, or SaaS)
  • Proven track record of generating and closing deals with US/UK/CA/AU clients
  • Experience with cold outreach tools (e.g., Apollo, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales pipeline management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of building processes from scratch

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Prior experience selling to CPA firms or SaaS startups
  • Understanding of accounting/bookkeeping services
  • Experience with B2B platforms (Clutch, Upwork, etc.)
  • Team-building or sales training experience
