Moonbug Entertainment is seeking a YouTube and content strategy powerhouse to join our team as a Business Development Director. This isn't a typical sales support role; we're looking for a consultative expert who can guide our sales team with a deep understanding of YouTube channel growth, content creation, and audience growth across all platforms. You'll play a critical role in developing and structuring unique content and brand partnerships, extending beyond traditional media IOs, and leveraging your experience with brand-funded content and distribution across premium platforms like Netflix and CTV. Furthermore, you'll be a key player in optimizing our toy client partnerships, transforming them from one-off projects into long-term, strategic business relationships that cross all business lines. Your responsibilities will also include driving the growth of our production services business and exploring innovative formats in gaming and audio to expand our content and brand partnership offerings. Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on securing high-value partnerships with endemic brands across multiple territories.
* Be a consultative expert to the wider sales organization and structure ground-breaking, innovative content deals and partnerships across existing endemic and non-endemic companies.
* Structure, negotiate, and close complex partnership agreements, including licensing, co-branded initiatives, and integrated marketing deals.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key endemic partners, including toy companies, gaming companies, and other consumer product brands.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, marketing, content, and production, to align deals with Moonbug's overall business objectives.
* Identify new revenue opportunities by analyzing market trends, partner needs, and competitive positioning.
* Manage deal execution, ensuring contractual obligations and partnership terms are met to maximize success and long-term growth.
* Represent Moonbug Entertainment at industry events and conferences to foster relationships and explore new partnership opportunities.
* Provide regular reports on business development performance, including pipeline updates, revenue forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
