Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth by establishing and cultivating relationships with emerging cloud platforms, including Lambda, CoreWeave, Vultr, GMI, Runpod, Genesis, and others. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities, close deals, and develop long-term partnerships that facilitate bulk transactions of compute power resources. This role is pivotal to our mission of becoming the go-to provider for cutting-edge compute infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partner Development:
- Identify and engage with new cloud platform partners to understand their needs and align BTC.com’s solutions to their goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across target platforms.
Sales and Deal Execution:
- Present BTC.com’s value proposition, focusing on the strength of our bare metal server offerings.
- Negotiate and close deals that drive mutual value and enable bulk transactions of compute power resources.
- Meet and exceed revenue targets by leveraging strong partnerships.
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop deep relationships with clients to ensure their long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring seamless communication and addressing client needs proactively.
Market and Industry Analysis:
- Stay informed about trends in the cloud platform and compute power sectors to identify opportunities for BTC.com.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team to refine strategies and offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Operations, and Marketing, to tailor solutions and deliver exceptional value to partners.
- Ensure alignment between client needs and BTC.com’s capabilities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in the cloud computing or technology infrastructure sector.
- Strong network and understanding of cloud platforms such as Lambda, CoreWeave, Vultr, GMI, Runpod, and Genesis.
- Demonstrated ability to close high-value deals and manage complex negotiations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for building and maintaining relationships.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Knowledge of compute power infrastructure, bare metal servers, or cloud services is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
