YEO is seeking a Business Development and Sales Manager, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) / İstanbul" to join the team."
The role within the team:
• As a 'Business Development and Sales Manager", will be responsible for sales of BESS including EPC, Project Development+EPC.
• Responsible for planning and implementing strategic sales targets within the BESS Business Unit and ensuring continuous and profitable order intake.
• Will develop and implement targeted local/global marketing concepts and strategies for BESS Business Unit portfolio.
• Analyzing customers, monitoring the market and competition, identifying trends/market needs and new business opportunities, and utilizing these to develop future-oriented sales strategies for our target markets.
• Managing the preparation of proposals, monitoring negotiation processes, and ensuring the generation of orders.
• Ensuring the establishment of reliable and strong relationships with customers/partners.
• Generating new market potentials and developing concepts for new business models.
Required Skills:
• A bachelor's or master's degree from relevant departments of a reputable university, such as electrical engineering, electrical-electronics engineering, electronic engineering, or energy systems engineering.
• Should have min. 7 years sales experience in project sales in any Energy sector (Solar, Hydro, Thermal, Wind, HV Substations etc.) and preferably should have min 2 years of sales experience in BESS.
• Experience working with local or international customers, understanding their investments and purchasing behaviors.
• Networking on different parties on the ecosystem as suppliers, project developers, investors, regulators.
• Deep knowledge about the regulations on the BESS ecosystem and different models.
• Customer-oriented excellent negotiation and communication abilities skills, and ability to persuade effectively.
• Sufficient knowledge of contract law, proficiency in both written and spoken Turkish and English. Proficiency in more languages would be advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office programs.
• No travel restrictions and being able to drive actively (Turkey and abroad)
