Summary

Position: Key Account Manager & Business Development


Department: International Trade Division


Domain: International Sales


Qualification: BE Mech/ Prod/ Auto/Metallurgy and MBA in Marketing


Experience: 5 Years


  1. New Business Development:
  2. Focused Business Development
  3. Focused in growing business in existing accounts irrespective of product family
  4. Maintaining a healthy Pipeline of RFQs
  5. Conversion of RFQs into business at an acceptable conversion rate
  6. Market Research
  7. Close understanding for Technology change with reference to Environmental Norms , Regulation & Work with OEM Engineering for taking decision to enter into different technology to align with future requirements .
  8. Technical Know how for Vehicle application with product understanding as Business Development Manager is preferred


  1. Business Finalization:
  2. Contract Negotiation, Formulation and Finalization
  3. Pricing Mechanism (Including RM and Other Cost Escalation Recovery)


  1. Sales:
  2. Overall Responsibility of Account regards to below functions:
  3. First Point of Contact for any queries irrespective of functional area
  4. Supply Chain
  5. Demand as per SOB
  6. Finance – Ensuring Healthy Cash Flow
  7. Quality Performance Score: PPM, Delivery Performance
  8. Quality Issues Liaison
  9. Central Management Activities


  1. Program Management – NPD:
  2. Ensuring a smooth TR, PPAP right till Series establishment
  3. Ensure PPAP and Development Timeline adherence


  • Sustained achievement of sales target.
  • Continuous improvement in productivity.
  • Self-skill enhancement in use of digital technology.
