We are seeking a Business Development / Account Manager to join our team and lead the expansion of our staffing and recruiting division. This role is focused exclusively on identifying and securing new clients, generating business opportunities, and expanding our presence in the utility sector. The ideal candidate will drive sales, build new client relationships from the ground up, and provide exceptional service to ensure long-term success. A strong background in sales and client relationship management is essential, with experience in the utility industry being highly preferred.


Responsibilities:


  • Focus on generating new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and cold calling potential clients in the utility and related industries
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers at target companies, presenting Nexiya’s staffing solutions to drive new contracts
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand Nexiya's client base and increase market share
  • Build relationships with potential clients to create long-term partnerships, securing new revenue streams
  • Meet and exceed sales targets related to new client acquisition and revenue generation
  • Track and manage sales performance, including new business growth and lead conversion rates
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals to prospective clients and negotiate contracts to close deals
  • Partner with internal recruitment teams to ensure we have the talent pipeline needed to meet the growing demands of new clients
  • Work closely with potential clients to understand their specific staffing needs and align solutions with their business goals
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and client segments that Nexiya can serve


Education/Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required
  • Minimum 5+ years in business development, sales, or account management
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, with a strong focus on new client acquisition
  • Experience in the utility industry or related sectors is highly preferred
  • Ability to generate new leads, close deals, and drive business expansion
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative selling abilities
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for sales and client growth
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and strategies
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building profitable client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on driving revenue growth
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to travel as needed

Salary Range:


Min: $90,000/Year+Commission

Max: $120,000/Year+Commission


This compensation structure includes a competitive base salary along with commission based on performance, allowing you to earn additional income based on the new business you generate and sales targets you achieve.
