Summary

This position is open at the following SpectraShield locations: Jacksonville, FL; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Dallas Fort Worth, TX; and Van Wert, OH We are seeking a qualified business development specialist to extend the reach of the SpectraShield® brand, specific to the Ohio and Michigan territory. Spectrashield® is a leading high performance coatings manufacturer and applicator in the wastewater industry. Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead and use initiative to accomplish this goal. Candidate will be fully supported by a professional management team and be given the tools and resources necessary to achieve his/her success and the company vision. Objectives of this role: Manage the development of new business opportunities in the territory Take a lead role in developing new-business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and relationships Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium and long term projects Assist the Team in the coordination of sales/marketing strategies and sharing best practices Responsibilities: Manage proposal response process, including RFP/IFB requirements and sales proposal creation Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, and screen potential business opportunities in line with the companies products and services Build brand loyalty with the customer base Work closely with the Operations Team in planning and scheduling Required Skills & Qualifications: Goal oriented Organized team player Motivation for sales Successful track record in B2B sales Prospecting skills Desire to develop market knowledge Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in data analysis and the identification of potential customers Ability to deliver presentations Ability to enhance Brand Awareness Maintain and share professional knowledge through networking, trade shows and other industry related events Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM software Professionalism Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent related experience
