Business Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Manage Data Quality and Functional Requirements team for assigned products (e.g. Derivatives, Loans, Securities, Repos)
• Supervise a business analytic team supporting one large system or multiple systems with responsibilities including work allocation, budget and planning, performance evaluation, compensation, staffing and other duties as assigned
• Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting data to meet business requirements and facilitate development
• Ability to adopt in a metrics driven environment and good at establishing necessary governance to provide insight to management
• Independently conducts analysis and executes tasks that contribute to work streams focusing on broad range of data initiatives including data requirements, issues management, Data Quality rules, lineage and Data Governance
• Liaising with project/development teams and providing support during program and project life cycles
• Partners with finance, Data and technology teams in delivery of role

Qualifications:

• A person with 10+ years of experience, working in similar roles across banking or services technology; knowledge of corporate banking and trade finance is preferred, demonstrated leadership skills
• Experience with databases, SQL and BI tools
• Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities as needed
• Prior experience in Data Quality Issue management, Data Quality Rules, Lineage preferred

Education:

• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master's degree preferred
