MISSION

As a Business Controller, you will work closely with the Senior Business Controller, supporting the Controlling team in the preparation of month-end reporting and ensuring the accuracy and timely distribution of financial results.

This role offers a progressive learning path: initially focused on supporting financial operations, you will gradually take ownership of your own scope and grow into a true business partner. You will collaborate with multiple departments (Logistics, Marketing, HR, etc.) to analyse business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and help improve financial processes and decision-making.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

Financial and business planning

• Assist with monthly planning and financial modelling, including investment and business case analysis
• Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts (Opex, Capex, cash flow, KPIs)
• Help identify risks, sensitivities, and areas for improvement in business performance

Reporting and analysis

• Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes, including financial reconciliations
• Assist in analysing variances vs. forecasts and budgets, and provide commentary
• Prepare presentations and materials for internal reviews and board meetings
• Support cash flow forecasting and tracking
• Produce ad hoc financial reports as requested

Financial processes

• Learn and help improve the use of financial systems, tools, and reporting models
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization (e.g. GenAI), and process improvement
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and data accuracy

Business support

• Support operational teams with financial insights and performance reporting
• Help assess the financial impact of decisions and propose solutions
• Participate in cross-functional projects and assist in the financial follow-up of new business units

People

• Work closely with the Senior Business Controller, Business Analyst, Accounting, and Credit teams
• Report directly to the Senior Business Controller

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, controlling
• understanding of business finance, accounting principles, and compliance
• Familiarity with Excel and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Interest in digitalization, data tools, and business systems
• Structured and analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail
• Proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
