Your role

As a Business Controller at our innovative data center company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and performance. Working closely with the Finance Director and cross-functional teams, you will provide advanced analytical support and strategic insights that drive our business decisions in a rapidly evolving industry.

Your responsibilities will include providing financial insights and projections. You will provide reliable data and analysis to be used in decision-making and planning. You will prepare accurate monthly financial reports, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis, identify action items, and effectively frame decisions that need to be made.

• Preparation of monthly management presentation, analysing Revenue, Opex, SG&A, Signings, Churns
• Preperation of budget, forecast, multi-year planning
• Financial tracking of CAPEX projects
• Preparation of key KPI reports including Space Reporting and Power reporting
• Partner directly with the finance team and central FP&A groups to collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
• Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
• Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
• Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization. Provides direct financial support to the Cluster’s business functions (Sales, Marketing, Operations).
• Project management of discreet projects, where identified, with the specific aim of increasing revenue and/or reducing costs
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Finished relevant Masters degree
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in corporate environment. Big-4 auditor moving to the industry will be considered as well.
• Above average Excel skills
• Experience with Financial systems and Commercial systems (Salesforce)
• Power BI knowledge is a strong plus
• General knowledge of accounting and financial principles
