Position Overview:

As a BAW Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and integrating workflows using IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient business processes and ensure high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain BAW workflows and integrations using SOAP and REST APIs.
• Design and implement BPM flows, user experience (UX) elements, and process applications using React, Angular, and Bootstrap.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Utilize CSS and JavaScript to customize user interfaces and improve overall usability.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications and workflows, ensuring functionality and performance standards are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to workflow performance and integration.
• Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business process management and automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in BAW development and integration.
• Strong knowledge of SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Proficiency in BPMN and experience with designing and implementing BPM flows.
• Solid understanding of UX elements using React, Angular, and Bootstrap.
• Strong knowledge of CSS and JavaScript for user interface customization.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other IBM products, such as IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation.
• Knowledge of database management and SQL.
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
