Who You'll Work With The Slalom Atlanta Technology Strategy team is seeking a Senior Business Architect. As a proven leader and experienced Business Architect, you will be at the forefront of helping clients align business strategy with technology execution across the Georgia-Alabama region. You'll work closely with senior business and technology leaders from Fortune 500 companies, mid-market enterprises, and public sector agencies-guiding them through complex transformations that deliver measurable business value. You bring deep expertise in business architecture and a passion for translating strategic goals into practical, scalable solutions. You will help shape the future of Slalom's Business Architecture capability, mentor a team of high-performing consultants, and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams. Your leadership will directly influence how we deliver impactful work that helps our clients grow, adapt, and thrive. What You'll Do * Lead high-impact engagements by establishing credibility, building trust, and taking ownership of complex client problems from day one. * Design and evolve business architecture artifacts, including capability maps, value streams, and operating models, to translate strategic intent into actionable transformation roadmaps. * Act as a strategic advisor to executives, surfacing insights and framing decisions that align business priorities with technology investments. * Shape and grow Slalom's Business Architecture capability by creating reusable assets, delivery methods, and go-to-market strategies across industries. * Develop and drive integrated enterprise strategies in collaboration with business, product, and technology leaders, ensuring alignment across business value, architecture, and delivery. * Support and guide sales pursuits, shaping strategic narratives and solutions that speak to client challenges and demonstrate our differentiated value. * Mentor and develop Slalom consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning, architectural thinking, and delivery excellence. * Facilitate workshops and working sessions to elicit, document, and align strategic goals, business requirements, and operational needs across stakeholders. * Promote data-informed architecture, incorporating business KPIs, analytics, and operational metrics to guide capability prioritization and investment planning. * Drive alignment across delivery teams, ensuring architectural insights are embedded into agile backlogs, solution designs, and delivery plans. * Contribute to operational success by supporting staffing decisions, engagement health, and financial targets in your area of expertise. * Champion change, helping organizations understand the impact of transformation on capabilities, workflows, and organizational models. What You'll Bring * 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in business architecture, strategic planning, or enterprise transformation roles. * Proven ability to translate complex strategies into clear, actionable business capability roadmaps. * Deep experience in capability modeling, value stream mapping, business process design, and operating model development. * Strong understanding of how digital platforms, data, cloud, and AI technologies drive business performance. * Experience in Agile and hybrid delivery models, with a track record of embedding architecture into iterative delivery. * Exceptional facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills-able to connect with C-level stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams alike. * Experience with business architecture modeling tools (e.g., LeanIX, BizBok, Ardoq) and enterprise architecture frameworks. * Demonstrated success as an engagement lead, solution lead, or people leader on large-scale strategy or transformation initiatives. * A collaborative leadership style grounded in humility, empathy, and continuous feedback. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus. * Certifications such as Certified Business Architect (CBA) or certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks are highly desirable.
