Description
General Responsibilities
Responsible for analyzing and documenting business systems, processes and workflows; facilitating collaboration across departments and within the IT team; utilizing data visualization and analytics solutions to support informed decision-making; working with vendors to optimize use of existing application capabilities and evaluate potential enhancements; and providing or coordinating user support and training for bank systems and processes.
Essential Duties
* Engages with business units to gather requirements, analyze processes, define metrics, and map current/future state workflows to align with business objectives and drive process improvements.

* Applies project management skills to coordinate initiatives, track progress, and deliver regular status updates to management, ensuring timely and successful project execution.
* Develops and maintains business reports and interactive dashboards based on departmental requests, providing actionable insights that drive performance and support strategic objectives.
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to assist in business process modeling, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and prioritize non-technical process improvements, while working with IT to apply workflow automation, RPA, and data automation solutions where appropriate.
* Explores and integrate sAI technologies to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and improve decision-making across the organization.
* Assists business units with coordinating and executing application upgrades to ensure smooth integration and optimal functionality.
* Monitors system performance regularly, ensuring adherence to guidelines for consistent, high-quality service delivery.
* Partners with the Help Desk and broader IT team to support internal end-users of business applications, helping ensure smooth and effective daily operations as needed.
* Maintains accurate application inventories and up-to-date system topology documentation to support effective planning for new solutions, integrations, and ongoing application management.
* Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel.
* Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
* Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.
* Maintains and ensures a sound understanding of the company's and the department's policies and procedures. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of compliance, risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. HMDA Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc. Completes all necessary compliance training in timeline provided.
* Communicates with management and staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities.
* Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from other bank personnel, customers, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
* Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports.
* Completes all necessary training related to the role and actively seeks opportunities to enhance job knowledge and support ongoing career development.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Education/Training: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar and attention to detail; Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally; Proven analytical skills with experience evaluating complex business processes and workflows; Highly detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and delivering high-quality results; Experience with process mapping, including documenting current-state workflows and designing future-state improvements to optimize efficiency and support strategic goals; Exposure to AI tools and emerging technologies, with a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply innovative solutions to enhance decision-making, automation, and overall efficiency. Proficient in personal computing and business applications including:
* Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or similar automation and data visualization tools
* Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Copilot, Visio or similar productivity and collaboration platforms
* IBM Cognos Analytics (Fiserv Business Analytics) or similar reporting tool
* Hyland OnBase ECM (Fiserv Director/Nautilus)
* Asana or comparable project management software
* Familiarity with banking, finance, marketing systems and CRMs is a plus
* Must possess visual and auditory acuity, a valid driver's license, and the ability to walk, sit and stand.
* Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business systems analysis or a related role. Experience with Fiserv or other core banking applications is highly preferred. Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training is a plus.
