Business Analyst

Hybrid 3 days in Ridgefield Park NJ

Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000


Key role in the organization, living at the intersection of professional services, technology and business processes, to advise and guide senior management on deployment of resources, driving desired outcomes, and adjustment of business processes. Candidate will possess a deep knowledge of excel modeling, intercommunications of database systems, and be a team player.


The Business Analyst will report to the Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the senior management team; providing thoughtful analysis, feedback, and guidance to Senior Management. In this capacity the Business Analyst will be responsible to:


· Provide financial analysis and recommendations to Senior Management.

· Proactively support the business by gathering insights, information, and key performance data, while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

· Create and develop forecasts, models and additional reports including big data dissection.

· Build and maintain business analysis (both financial and operational) to inform Senior Management and influence business decisions.

· Monitor financial performance, research variances to plan, and identify risks and opportunities.

· Proactively and effectively communicate financial information to executive level leadership and develop executive level presentations through various data visualization tools and methods.

· Engage in project-driven financial analysis across all lines of business working collaboratively with internal and external business partners.

· Create, manipulate and manage BI connectors to equip senior management with robust analytics, leveraging business intelligence to take a more hands-on approach to analyzing data.

· Support the Executive Director with reporting and analysis.


Candidate Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Applied Mathematics or analytics-related area.

· 3+ years in finance or analytics-related role. Investment Bank, Private Equity or Consulting experience a plus.

· Strong quantitative and analytical skills, ability to develop financial models to evaluate projects, revenue streams, etc.

· Flexible and able to anticipate change and respond to daily operational needs and priorities with agility.

· Energetically embraces new thoughts and ideas, focuses on continuous improvement efficiently.

· Experienced data visualization presentations, verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with individuals of all levels within the organization.

· Demonstrates strong organizational skills to balance competing priorities and manage time efficiently.

· Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Data visualization tools, with ability to learn new tools quickly.
