PlanIT Group is searching for a Project Manager / Business Analyst to serve as the functional expert to our clients Application Engineering team, working closely with our local development and offshore teams. S/He will provide analytical support in the conceptualization, development, and implementation of complex system projects. This person will also assist in the execution of the product roadmap through activities like requirements definition, testing, release management and product feature documentation/training.
Project Duties
Document project requirements, assist in creating process and technology solutions, create User Stories, handle UAT, and perform analysis on multiple problems
Operate between the business and technology to ensure all parties are satisfied with the outcome
Assist with maturing Agile Scrum environment across all platforms
Facilitate backlog grooming sessions and scrum meetings

Essential Responsibilities
Facilitate discussions to elicit functional and technical requirements from stakeholders
Facilitate / perform backlog grooming sessions and scrum meetings
Engage with business users at different levels to understand business needs, analyze, document their requirements
Understand and explain systems features and benefits of the product line as it relates to customer needs
Work with developers to supplement requirement definition in consideration of technology constraints
Act as the subject matter expert to clarify developer inquiries during the development phase and provide on-going expertise to the business stakeholder
Create release notes in coordination with the development team
Formalize product feature documentation there by creating EPICs, Features, and User Stories in Azure DevOps (ADO)
Influences business process improvements / product roadmap
Assists Engineers in debugging / troubleshooting issues involving data or the accuracy of data, in day-to-day work and production support scenarios
Researches external systems as needed to reverse engineer or understand their function through data extraction and validation

Solid understanding of Scrum Agile key principles and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Business Analysis Core Standard: the core and most fundamental practices of business analysis as described by the International institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
Backlog Grooming Practices
Scrum Master Ceremonies
Education And/or Experience
5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst role
2+ year with Salesforce technology a plus
Strong experience in a software development environment
Comprehensive knowledge of Agile / Scrum and project management tools
Proven experience with use case diagrams and process flow creation
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are a must as documentation and discussion facilitation are a core part of the role
Experience successfully working in a fast-paced, change-oriented environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience managing multiple projects and demands with various priorities and deadlines
Experience in product support in a professional setting strongly preferred
Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft products, and ServiceNow
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
