Vertiv is looking for a Business Analyst in Pelzer, SC to increase the bandwidth and velocity of the leadership team in such a way as to concentrate time, effort, and priorities on strategic initiatives. This role will have the acumen to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously managing long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands on the operations. They will interface with site leaders to complete strategic planning initiatives, vendor and customer management needs, and growth initiatives The individual will provide analysis and decision making input on a full spectrum of project evaluations, operations performance data, operational, and financial metrics. They will also have the demonstrated ability to deal with highly confidential information and act as a liaison between leaders and other constituencies, both internal and external. They will facilitate the process of project solicitation, selection, prioritization, implementation, and monitoring. The successful candidate must exhibit the skills to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others, quantitative analysis skills, the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships and the capability to interact within all levels of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES * Effective professional communication skills; works with leadership and their representatives * Manage complex calendars, including scheduling meetings, coordinating with teams, and communicating with stakeholders * Capable of preparing materials, meetings, presentation and reports for internal and/or external stakeholders. * Coordinate, consolidate and report important information to multiple functions and locations * Provide support of key strategic initiatives utilizing communication, analytics and organizational skills. * Understand basic Operations concepts, able to interface with an Operations organization * Handle daily tasks for leaders upon request (e.g., briefings, correspondence, attend meetings) * Facilitate execution through professional communication and collaboration * Create and update dashboards to monitor the progress of critical initiatives * Network with Leadership and other associates to help advance Operational goals QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Job Qualifications: * 5+ years of Manufacturing Operations or Business strategy experience Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Technical, Business, or Analytics field * Experience with Strategy development or execution * Success in a fast-paced; transformational environment * Experience with Smartsheet, Power BI and Oracle a plus EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS No Special Physical Requirements ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS No Specific Environmental Demands TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED Minimal local travel may be required.
