About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst to join our Global Energy & PPA Origination team. You will play a key supporting role in the analysis of electricity markets and energy demand trends at global level, as well as in the coordination of activities and deliverables across the team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the energy transition by supporting commercial strategy and customer engagement across key markets.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Market Monitoring: Track and synthesize global key trends in power markets, with a focus on electricity demand, regulatory developments, and decarbonization strategies of major energy consumers.
• Sector Analysis: Develop insights into strategic energy-consuming sectors (e.g., data centers, manufacturing, transport, hydrogen) to identify emerging opportunities for PPAs.
• Presentation Support: Assist in the preparation of client-facing presentations, internal strategy decks, and market updates tailored to different stakeholder audiences.
• Team Coordination: Support the harmonization of tools, deliverables, and best practices across the team.
• Knowledge Management: Maintain and update internal repositories of market intelligence, client profiles, and case studies.
• Ad-hoc Support: Provide general support to the Director and regional originators in the execution of Origination strategies.

 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Energy, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related fields.
• +2 years of relevant experience in energy markets, consulting, or sustainability-related roles.
• Strong interest in renewable energy, power markets, and the energy transition.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
• A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
