Job Summary:
What does this role aim to achieve in the firm/what impact does the role create
The MI/Reporting Lead is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of management information systems and reporting frameworks that provide accurate and timely business insights.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of data management and reporting tools. The MI/Reporting Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams within Managed Services to gather requirements, design reports, and deliver actionable insights that drive business performance.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Management Information (MI) Systems:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of MI systems to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the managed services business.
- Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of business data to provide meaningful insights.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data across all reporting systems.
- Enable effective integration of Managed Services MI with the broader firm’s systems
Reporting:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive reporting framework that includes dashboards, regular reports, and ad-hoc analyses.
- Translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reports to meet business requirements.
Data Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Support decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with key Managed Services stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored reporting solutions.
Team Leadership:
- Capacity to work in a lean structure and grow a team
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation in data management and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data infrastructure supports business needs.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with senior management and other stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and concise manner.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure all reporting processes comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Maintain data security and confidentiality in all reporting activities.
Expected Skills:
Specific learned abilities or technical skills
- Proven experience in business intelligence, Power BI modeling, and maintenance and other reporting tools such as SQL, MS Office or similar.
- Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders and technical teams
- Familiarity with data modeling and planning tools
- Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Minimum Education and Specific Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree
Years of Experience:
5-7 years of experience in MI, business intelligence, or reporting roles for a large international organisation.
