Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Business Analyst with mainframe experience to work for us as our direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee to join our team. You will:

• Analyze and support legacy mainframe systems, including COBOL, JCL, and DB2, while aiding in the transition to a modernized platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand tax-related business processes and ensure continuity during system migration
• Provide insight and documentation on key functional areas such as ePayments (ACH and credit card), MeF databases, and the distribution of funds via MiniOaks

Required Skills and Experience:

• Mainframe Technologies:
• COBOL (10 years)
• JCL (10 years)
• DB2 (10 years)
• Knowledge of Tax Business Processes - Required

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with tax systems – Highly desired
• Familiarity with tax business processes – Required but also a strong value-add when paired with system knowledge
• Knowledge of ePayments systems (ACH and Credit Card processing)
• Understanding of Treasurer of State (TOS) remittance processes
• Experience with Modernized eFile (MeF) systems
• Knowledge of MiniOaks or similar fund distribution systems
