Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

Gemini is looking for someone who can analyze business problems and provide solutions for our marquee capital market clients. Participate with peers and represent the business on project teams. Take ownership of project from beginning to end. Is an autonomous worker who specializes in completeness and accuracy. You will be SPOC for overall project tracking, process streamlining and management. You need to act as a liaison between the stakeholders and the users.


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILL SETS

  • MBA Finance or equivalent, CFA/FRM preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Overall 3+ year of industry experience
  • Experience of agile / scrum / SDLC methodology, preferably a certification in Agile/Scrum/PMP/Prince2
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with design mindset
  • Good to have understanding of capital market fundamentals – equities, bonds, derivatives
  • Good to have working knowledge of Bloomberg, Aladin
  • Has experience working in a data driven role or exposure to trading technology
  • Hands-on expertise in excel to deal with complex data
  • Preferred know how of Python data analysis and SQL queries
  • Great team management, interpersonal skills
  • Hands-on with high degree of ownership
  • High learning curve to quickly gain control of new situations, technologies and challenge


KEY RESPOSIBILITIES

  • Understand the client’s business and functional domain to help deliver to their expectations
  • Requirement Gathering, Project Design and Framework Development
  • Project Tracking, Management and Process Streamlining for the team by acting as single point of contact to the client and owning module delivery
  • Milestones and Deliverables definition and Project Documentation
  • Data Cleansing and Validation
  • Weekly Release Management, Planning and Execution of team tasks
  • Conduct and Drive Internal/ Client cadence meetings, Stand-ups and Retrospective
  • Efficient Dashboard maintenance and monitoring for user stories, tasks and issues
  • Analysis of incidents, metric for monitoring and issue resolution
  • Ensure completion of deliverables by team and client sign-off
  • Initiating process optimization and improvisation
  • Training and development, thus enhancing financial/technical skill set of existing/ new team members.

EDUCATION

  • MBA Finance or Equivalent
  • CFA, FRM Preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field.
